Happy New Year 2024!

Karen Knorr Studio is pleased to announce Karen Knorr’s presence and participation at Zona Maco with Sundaram Tagore Gallery in Mexico City, 7–11 February 2024. Taking place annually at Centro Citibanamex, it is Latin America’s leading art fair.

Karen Knorr is busy making new work referencing the stories and narratives that inform the cultural heritage of the Scavi Archeological sites found near Naples, that include Herculaneum, Pompeii and Oplontis. The new work will be presented this September by Sundaram Tagore Gallery in New York, alongside new works from her iconic series India Song contextualised by her past work.

Karen Knorr Studio is also currently working on two bodies of earlier work that are due to be published in the Spring; Country Life by Stanley/Barker and Connoisseurs and Academies by Kehrer. More details to follow, including events coinciding with Photo London 2024.

A co-authored and collaborative project started in 2016, continues with Anna Fox and Karen Knorr returning to Maine in May 2024. The US1 road trip project based on Berenice Abbot’s work is currently being developed and edited.
